Dear sir,
I find your web page (http://pw1.netcom.com/~rogermw/square_earth.html) to be an interesting list of reasoning as to why the Earth's shape is a square. I am curious why I should believe that passages in the Bible should be interpreted in this way. Why should they not be interpreted in some other fashion that proves the Earth is a Pentagon (as decided by the Flat Earth Society at www.flat-earth.org)? What makes your interpretation correct and others incorrect?

Now I've read the Square Earth theory and I have some questions.
1. How do you explain shadows?
2. How do you explain ships on the horizon?
3. If the earth is square, having only 4 corners, how can you explain the 3 dementional nature of things?
4. Do these theories of yours have something to do with Eastern Orthodoxy?
