  Carl was just an ordinary operations monitor at a toy factory, until he had a terrible accident and fell into a vat of slinkies!  Now his arms and legs are composed of the noisy metal springs and can stretch to lengths of over 15 meters each.  Since the accident, he became a private eye, but he has yet to master his arms and legs so as to prevent their getting tangled.
